October 7 is also when the Animation Happens Here panel takes place. The panelists will discuss hot anime topics, such as new Fall shows, and hit series, as well as Funimation co-productions.
Funimation is also hosting a one-night Subscriber-only celebration of anime at NYC’s premier rooftop bar at The Press Lounge, on October 7. The event is free on a first-come, first-serve basis with limited capacity. Attendees must RSVP and be over 21 years of age. NYCC badge, Funimation subscription, as well as proof of COVID-19 vaccination are required to enter.
If you can’t make it to the NYCC, Funimation will be sharing the experience on their online social media.
