On 1 March 2021, the upcoming anime series OsaMake Love Comedy (Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Comedy) officially announced its broadcast date. The series will be making its debut on 14 April 2021.
Doga Kobo will be producing the series while Takashi Naoya will be directing. In addition, a character visual for the five main characters was also revealed.
Fun fact: The visual for the anime adaptation is made by the light novel’s illustrator, Ui Shigure!

OsaMake (A Romantic Comedy Where the Childhood Friend Absolutely Will Not Lose) is a light novel series written by Shūichi Nimaru and illustrated by Ui Shigure. A manga adaptation illustrated by Ryō Itō has been serialized in Media Factory’s seinen manga magazine Monthly Comic Alive since November 2019.
My childhood friend Shida Kuroha seems to have feelings for me. She lives next door, and is small and cute. With an outgoing character, she’s the caring Onee-san type, this being one of her greatest strengths.
But, I already have my first love, the beautiful idol of our school, and the award-winning author high school girl, Kachi Shirokusa!
