The preview for episode 5 of Oshi no Ko anime has been released and the upcoming episode is slated to air on Wednesday, May 10. It is available to stream on HiDIVE, Ani-One Asia ULTRA, Bilibili, and Netflix Asia.
Seong Min Kim (Selection Project) is directing and supervising the storyboard in the upcoming episode with Jin Tanaka (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) on the script. Studio Doga Kobo (Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie) is animating Oshi no Ko. Kanna Hirayama (Rent-a-Girlfriend) is adapting the character designs from the manga written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) with art by Mengo Yokari (Scum’s Wish).
The cast of Oshi no Ko includes Rie Takahashi as Ai Hoshino, Takeo Otsuka as Aquamarine Hoshino, Yurie Igoma as Ruby Hoshino, Megumi Han as Kana Arima, Manaka Iwami as Akane Kurokawa, Rumi Okubo as Mem-cho, and Lynn as Miyako Saito. YOASOBI is performing the opening song titled “Idol” while Queen Bee sings the ending theme song “Mephisto”.

The anime was voted the most anticipated anime of Spring 2023 and is one of the season’s biggest trends.
