Pokemon Evolutions: New Anime Project Announced, to Have 8 Episodes

The official Pokemon website has announced a new anime series titled Pokemon Evolutions, which is set to premiere this September (first episode in only a week!). The series will consist of 8 episodes, and will “take you on a tour of the regions that have been explored in the core Pokémon video game series”. The trailer shows a preview of what to expect, and you can also watch the full video below:

This project comes to celebrate 25 Years of Pokémon, and they describe it further: The series will begin in the Galar region and culminate in the Kanto region—the first region that appeared in the Pokémon series. Each episode features familiar characters and Pokémon alongside a connecting thread of a Pikachu that leads the viewers on their voyage through the regions.

When will Pokemon Evolutions anime Release

The full list of titles and release dates is as follows:

  • “The Champion” featuring the Galar region – September 9, 2021
  • “The Eclipse” featuring the Alola region – September 23, 2021
  • “The Vision” featuring the Kalos region – October 7, 2021
  • “The Plan” featuring the Unova region – October 21, 2021
  • “The Rival” featuring the Sinnoh region – December 2, 2021
  • “The Wish” featuring the Hoenn region – December 9, 2021
  • “The Show” featuring the Johto region – December 16, 2021
  • “The Quest” featuring the Kanto region – December 23, 2021

All the Pokemon Evolutions anime episodes will release globally on Pokémon TV, as well as on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.
