Crunchyroll has released a special video for JUJUTSU KAISEN, and it features scenes from the season 1 TV anime along with scenes from the JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 movie. It also includes the 3 theme songs from the anime, which are “Kaikai Kitan” by Eve, “VIVID VICE” by Who-ya Extended and “Ichizu” by King Gnu. Watch the special video:

Gege Akutami writes and draws the Shonen Jump manga series, which currently has 192 chapters and 20 compilation volumes. It received a TV anime series by studio MAPPA in 2018, which ran for a total of 24 episodes. Crunchyroll streams the anime, and they describe the story:
Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses… and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.
The JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 Movie is a prequel, and it follows Yuta Okkotsu, a nervous high school student who enrolls in the mysterious Tokyo Jujutsu High School under the guidance of Satoru Gojo after being haunted by the curse of his childhood friend. The film is based on Volume 0 of Akutami Gege’s hit manga, which VIZ licensed in English. Crunchyroll will also be streaming the movie from September 21, and they describe the story:
When they were children, Rika Orimoto was killed in a traffic accident right before the eyes of her close friend, Yuta Okkotsu.
“It’s a promise. When we both grow up, we’ll get married.”
Rika became an apparition, and Yuta longed for his own death after suffering under her curse,
but the greatest Jujutsu sorcerer, Satoru Gojo, welcomed him into Jujutsu High.
There Yuta meets his classmates, Maki Zen’in, Toge Inumaki, and Panda, and finally finds his own determination.
“I want the confidence to say it’s okay that I’m alive!”
“While I’m at Jujutsu High, I’ll break Rika-chan’s curse.”
Meanwhile, the vile curse user, Suguru Geto, who was expelled from the school for massacring ordinary people, appears before Yuta and the others.
“This coming December 24th, we shall carry out the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons.”
While Geto advocates for creating a paradise for only jujutsu sorcerers, he unleashes a thousand curses upon Shinjuku and Kyoto to exterminate all non-sorcerers.
Will Yuta be able to stop Geto in the end?
And what will happen to breaking Rika’s curse…?

The special video is a nice reminder for the JUJUTSU KAISEN fans who are getting ready for season 2, which is scheduled for 2023.
