The preview images for episode three of The Rising of the Shield Hero – Season Two were released on the official site along with an episode preview that was released on the official KADOKAWAAnime Youtube channel. After building up to a battle with the Spirit Tortoise in the past two episodes, it looks like we’ll finally be seeing some hard-hitting action!
As we can tell from the images and preview video, we’re all in store for some memorable moments in episode three! After a questionable season premiere and a second episode that set the tone well for this upcoming episode, it looks like The Rising of the Shield Hero is getting back to what makes the series so fantastic—intense action and hype moments with our favorite characters.
Seeing Raphtalia and Filo going in for a big strike at the end of the episode teaser video was the perfect cherry on top to get fans ready for episode three. With the preview images and a teaser video, there’s a particular focus on the newly introduced character, Ost Hourai, and what she’ll be capable of during the upcoming fight. Although, it will be interesting to see how fans will react to the clear-as-day CGI Spirit Tortoise.
The Rising of the Shield Hero – Season Two remained in the top-10 of our weekly polls for the first two weeks of the Spring 2022 season and it’s looking to make its way back into the top-3 as it did in week one.
