Maki Keigo’s Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie manga released a new PV for the manga on October 25, which is also Shikimori’s birthday and the anniversary of her relationship. The manga is also getting a TV anime adaptation, slated for April 2022.
You can check the 30-second Shikimori PV below. Just like in the anime, Onishi Saori plays Shikimori, and Umeda Shuichiro voices Izumi:
The official Twitter account for the Shikimori manga also posted a congratulatory illustration for her birthday with a caption: Happy birthday.
Maki Keigo originally posted the manga on Twitter and later started serialization on Kodansha’s manga service Magapoke in 2019. The series released its 10th compiled volume on October 8, 2021.
Kodansha USA has been publishing the English version and describes the plot as:
Shikimori seems like the perfect girlfriend: cute, fun to be around, sweet when she wants to be… but she has a cool dark side that comes out under the right circumstances. And her boyfriend Izumi loves to be around when that happens! A fun and funny high school romance with a sassy twist perfect for fans of Nagatoro-san and Komi Can’t Communicate!
