Solo Leveling Game by Netmarble Is in the Works

The popular manhwa series Solo Leveling is getting a game adaptation by Korean game developer Netmarble. The game will be a single-player RPG action game, in which players will be able to level up by improving their skills or adding powerful hunters to their party. Netmarble promises a fun experience, with cinematic battle scenes which will mirror the webtoon style.

This is the first game project for the Solo Leveling series. A teaser trailer of the gameplay has been revealed:

Solo Leveling is a Korean web-novel series by Chugong. The web novel started serialization in 2016 and ended in 2018, after 270 chapters. Webnovel licensed it in English, under the Only I Level Up title. Webtoon adaptation of the series ran from 2018 to late 2021. It was illustrated by Jang-Sung-Rak (aka DUBU) of Redice Studio and ended after 179 episodes.

In this world where Hunters with various magical powers battle monsters from invading the defenceless humanity, Seong Jin-Woo was the weakest of all the Hunters, barely able to make a living.
