The Teasing Master Takagi-san manga officially ended after a 10-year run. The final chapter was released on October 12 in the November issue of the Monthly Shonen Sunday. A promotional video has been also released following the conclusion:
Teasing Master Takagi-san is a manga written and illustrated by Soichiro Yamamoto. It was first serialized in the Monthly Shonen Sunday Mini in June 2013 before being transferred to the Monthly Shonen Sunday in July 2016. The manga franchise also sprang spin-offs titled Ashita wa Doyobi (2014), Koi ni Koisuru Yukari-chan (2017), and Karakai Jozu no (Moto) Takagi-san (2017). A fourth spin-off titled Karakai Jozu no Nishikata-san is set to start in the Monthly Shonen Sunday in November 2023.
Yen Press has licensed the main manga in English, describing the plot as:
Middle schooler Nishikata has had it with his classmate Takagi–the chronic teaser who sits nearby. Day in and day out, she comes after him with every sort of trick or prank. Even when he tries to get her back, she’s always one step ahead. But rest assured, it’s only the beginning. He’s not about to give up that easily in this battle of cunning and youth!
The series received an anime adaptation with three seasons. The first season aired from January to March 2018, the second one aired from July to September 2019, and the third season aired from January to March 2022. It also got an OVA back in July 2018, and an animated film adaption which premiered in June 2022.
A drama adaptation was also announced back in March this year, with Rui Tsukishima and Soya Kurokawa playing the role of the main duo Takagi and Nishikata. It will be released in March 2024 on Netflix first before it airs on TBS channel block programming Drama Stream.
