The Case Study of Vanitas Episode 17 Preview Released

The Case Study of Vanitas episode 17 preview is out and there are a lot of familiar faces in it! Last week, we discovered Jean-Jacques’s backstory on how he eventually took on the Beast of Gévaudan. It’s a lot of suspense and drama, especially now that we know more about Jeanne and Chloé’s motives! The tables have been turned for Naenia and it’s round two for Noé vs Astolfo. Can Vanitas save them all? The next episode is titled, “Vengeance―Hands Upon a Nightmare.”

Together with five preview images, the website teases The Case Study of Vanitas episode 17 synopsis. Chloé is about to finish off the materialized Naenia when suddenly, the Charlatan member cries, and her true form appears! In addition, the video preview shows the arrival of Roland and a few other cameos too.

The Case Study of Vanitas episode 17 will premiere on FridayFebruary 11, at 24:00 JST. The English subtitled versions will also be available later on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Bilibili in select regions. Watch the preview video below:

The full opening and ending theme songs will also be officially released soon. Your Name by Little Glee Monster will release on March 2, while Salvation by MONONKUL on February 23. The albums will have special jacket illustrations of Vanitas and Noé. There’s also a free wallpaper you can get for Vanitas’ birthday! Check the announcement tweet below:

The Case Study of Vanitas is a manga by Jun Mozuchi which follows the story of the vampire Noé Archiviste as he joins Vanitas on his quest to cure all curse-bearing vampires. It also has an anime and a stageplay adaption. Studio BONES is animating the series.
