The Daily Life of the Immortal King Season 4 Announced

The Daily Life of the Immortal King is getting season 4, as announced earlier today. The third season of the donghua is currently airing – six episodes are out and a total of 12 are planned. A trailer is available on Weibo, but can also be watched on YouTube with English subtitles (1 hour 10 minutes):

The information was revealed at Bibili’s special program, dedicated to animated works. The whole show can be watched on YouTube with English subtitles. The main cast for the donghua includes Sun Lulu as Wang Chen. The series has been dubbed in English, with Ethan Gallardo voicing Chen. Visual for the fourth season has also been revealed:

The Daily Life of the Immortal King – Season 4

The anime is based on the Chinese cultivation novel Xian Wang de Richang Shenghuo (The Daily Life of the Immortal King) written by Ku Xuan. The novel, which has been serialized since 2017, also has a webtoon version, which features art by Yueling Wu and the story by Xi He. The webtoon has been serialized since 2020 on Bilibili. The same company is also producing the donghua.

The first season of the donghua (Chinese anime) aired in China in from January to March 2020, and it had 15 episodes. The 2nd season ran for 12 episodes, from October 2021 to January 2022. The first season was animated by Haoliners Animation League, while Pb Animation Co. Ltd did the other two.

Netflix is streaming the first season of The Daily Life of the Immortal King, and so is Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll describes the plot as:
For cultivation prodigy Wang Ling, defeating a demon king at age 6 is nothing compared to fitting in at highschool. And now with supernatural threats on the rise, Wang may have to put his magic studies on hold to save the world!
