The upcoming NieR:Automata anime revealed a new trailer and visual, both of which feature Pascal. Aoi Yuki is reprising her role as the Machine. The voice actress commented saying that she felt joy because she was able to interact with other cast members, as she did the recording for the game on her own. The anime will begin airing in January of 2023.
In addition to Pascal, the Nier:Automata anime previously revealed trailers and visuals for 2B (voiced by Yui Ishikawa), 9S (Natsuki Hanae), and YoRHA Squadron. The cast also includes Chiaki Kano as YoRHA Squadron Commander, Keiko Isobe as Operator 6O, Meari Hatsumi as Operator 21O Hiroki Yasumoto as 042 and Kaoru Akiyama as 152.
The anime is titled NieR:Automata Ver1.1a. and the staff includes:

The plot of the game is described as:
