The Dangers in My Heart Reveals Episode 1 Preview

The Dangers in My Heart TV anime revealed the preview for its upcoming episode 1 which airs on Saturday, April 1. The first episode will start by introducing Kyotaro Ichikawa, a junior high school student with a severe case of chunibyo syndrome. Oh, he also has the desire to kill his beautiful classmate Anna Yamada and spends days fantasizing about Yamada’s beautiful corpse. One day, when he goes to his sanctuary – the library, he finds Yamada with a big mouthful of rice balls in her mouth. Don’t miss the season premiere of The Dangers in My Heart anime which, will be available to stream on HiDIVE.

Studio Shin-Ei Animation is animating the series with Hiroaki Akagi as the director. Jukki Hanada is writing the series composition, Masato Katsumata is doing the character designs, and Kensuke Ushio composing the music. Yorushika is singing the opening song, while Kohana Lam is in charge of the ending theme. The cast consists of:

The TV anime is based on the manga by Norio Sakurai which has been ongoing since 2018. Seven Seas Entertainment is licensing the title in English with 5 volumes currently in circulation and they describe the story as:
Kyotaro Ichikawa, a boy barely clinging to the bottom rung of his school’s social ladder, secretly believes he’s the tortured lead in some psychological thriller. He spends his days dreaming up ways to disrupt his classmates’ peaceful lives and pining after Anna Yamada, the class idol. But Kyotaro’s not nearly the troubled teen he pretends to be…and it turns out Anna’s a bit odd herself!
