The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 Reveals Main Visual

The Dangers in My Heart revealed a main visual for its upcoming season 2. It features the main duo Anna Yamada and Kyotaro Ichikawa, their classmates, and some new faces in the background. Studio Shin-Ei Animation returns to animate the second season that is set to premiere in January 2024.

The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 – Main Visual

The first season premiered in April of this year with Hiroaki Akagi as director. Jukki Hanada wrote the scripts and Masato Katsumata adapted the character designs from the manga. Hina Yomiya voiced Anna Yamada while Shun Horie played the role of Kyotaro Ichikawa.

The TV anime is based on the manga written and illustrated by Norio Sakurai which has been ongoing since 2018. Seven Seas Entertainment is licensing the title in English. HIDIVE and Bilibili are streaming the first season of the anime and the latter describes the series as follows:
Kyoutaro Ichikawa may have the appearance of a typical middle schooler, but his heart is filled with murderous fantasies. It is therefore not surprising that Anna Yamada, the class idol, is constantly on his thoughts as the person he wants to kill the most. He unintentionally starts a meeting with Yamada while reading alone in his favorite school library, and she shows up to sneakily feast on her favorite candies and sweets. Ichikawa learns how much of a ditz Yamada is via their conversations and is forced to cheer her on from the sidelines. Yamada herself can’t help but tease Ichikawa nonstop because of his agitated responses. The distant connection between the two deepens into something more than just library acquaintances as a result of a variety of touching daily interactions. Ichikawa might eventually understand that his violent fantasies have changed into something quite else.

I can talk about seiyuus for days. A connoisseur of cute girls doing cute things and fluffy romance stories always make me smile. I mostly watch slice-of-life and rom-coms with drama on the side.
