THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS U149 anime released the third trailer along with information for the broadcast, the staff and the cast members. The anime opened a Twitter page (@u149_anime) and will begin to air in April 2023. Studio CygamesPictures is animating the adaptation with Manabu Okamoto (Mushoku Tensei) as the director. The franchise is also receiving an anime adaptation for The iDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE, for which the premiere date is set to fall 2023.
The cast members are reprising their roles from THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS game except for the Producer. Koharu Koga’s voice actor still hasn;t been revealed.
The newly-released third trailer features Arisu Tachibana and the Producer’s voices at the end of the anime. A sequence reads “This story is about the growth of little idols and their little producer.” The video is region-locked.
THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS U149 is a spin-off manga by Kyono based on THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS game. The series has been serialized in Cygames’ Cycomi manga service since October 2016 and released the first compiled volume in July 2017 and the 9th and 10th volumes in April 2022.
