The Kingdoms of Ruin is getting a TV anime that is set to premiere later this year. Yokohama Animation Lab is animating the series and the staff includes:
Kaito Ishikawa and Azumi Waki are voicing Adonis and Doroka. The key visual is now also available:
The Kingdoms of Ruins (Hametsu no Oukoku) is a manga series written and illustrated by yoruhashi. It began serialization in 2019 in Comic Garden magazine. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed it in English and describes the plot as:
Humanity long lived in harmony with witches, but an advanced scientific revolution has made the powers of a witch unnecessary. Succumbing to resentment and fear, the greatest nation in the world begins a brutal witch hunt and eliminates all witches from the land. After being forced to watch his beloved teacher die, Adonis, a witch’s apprentice, swears revenge on the empire that took everything away from him.
