The Kingdoms of Ruin anime has a trailer that showcases some of the amazing action scenes we can expect from the adaptation, which will premiere in October. Yokohama Animation Lab is animating the series and the staff includes:
Kaito Ishikawa and Azumi Waki are voicing Adonis and Doroka.
The Kingdoms of Ruins (Hametsu no Oukoku) is a manga series written and illustrated by yoruhashi. It began serialization in 2019 in Comic Garden magazine. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed it in English and describes the plot as:
Humanity long lived in harmony with witches, but an advanced scientific revolution has made the powers of a witch unnecessary. Succumbing to resentment and fear, the greatest nation in the world begins a brutal witch hunt and eliminates all witches from the land. After being forced to watch his beloved teacher die, Adonis, a witch’s apprentice, swears revenge on the empire that took everything away from him.
