After a rather long wait, Ken Wakui’s Tokyo Revengers manga is finally getting an English print release by Seven Seas Entertainment in May 2022. The publisher announced it on Wednesday, and they will publish the first print editions as 2-in-1 omnibus paperbacks. There is also an exclusive Barnes & Noble limited edition of the Vol. 1-2 omnibus with a variant cover and double-sided foldout poster. It will release on the same day for the same price, and you can already pre-order it. Also check out the volume 1 cover:
Although the print release has taken some time, Kodansha USA publishes Tokyo Revengers in English digitally, and they describe the story:
Watching the news, Takemichi Hanagaki learns that his girlfriend from way back in middle school, Hinata Tachibana, has died. The only girlfriend he ever had was just killed by a villainous group known as the Tokyo Manji Gang. He lives in a crappy apartment with thin walls, and his six-years-younger boss treats him like an idiot. Plus, he’s a complete and total virgin … At the height of his rock-bottom life, he suddenly time-leaps twelve years back to his middle school days!! To save Hinata, and change the life he spent running away, hopeless part-timer Takemichi must aim for the top of Kanto’s most sinister delinquent gang!!
The series also got an anime adaptation, which Crunchyroll streams. It has a total of 24 episodes, and Studio LIDENFILMS handled the animation.
