Daiichikosho, a Japanese karaoke company, conducted a karaoke ranking survey that got topped by “Tokyo Revengers” opening theme. The songs that were taken into consideration were the theme songs from the spring 2021 TV anime. The song had to be available on the companies karaoke on-demand service, DAM, from April 1 to June 30, 2021. Over 100 theme/insert/character songs were sung at DAM nationwide, and below, you can see the top 10 ranking:
As you can see, “Tokyo Revengers” opening theme, “Crybaby”, is topping the TV anime karaoke chart, while the series’ ending is sitting in 4th place.
Ken Wakui is the author of “Tokyo Revengers”, a manga that started serializing in Weekly Shonen Magazine on March 1, 2017. Kodansha USA is publishing the manga in English since October 16, 2018, and you can buy volumes 1-20 on their website. The manga also has a currently-airing, as of the writing of this article, anime adaptation that you can watch on Crunchyroll. What’s more, “Tokyo Revengers” manga entered its final arc on June 2, 2021.
