Mitsuru Kido writes and draws the original Too Cute Crisis manga series, which has been serialized in Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine since October 2019. There chapters have been collected into five compilation volumes as of April 2022.

The story of Too Cute Crisis anime follows researcher Liza Luna, who was sent to Earth from a space empire Azatros to destroy it. In the beginning, she intended to destroy it quickly and be done with it. However, she stopped at a cafe, where she met a cat. The cat’s cuteness shocked her, and so her crisis with cute beings from another dimension begins.
