The original anime Turkey! has revealed the main cast lineup during the ongoing AnimeJapan 2023 event. Bakken Record, the animation production label under Tatsunoko Production, is animating the series centered around bowling.
The main anime cast includes Kana Ichinose (Darling in the Franxx, Dr. Stone, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury) as Rina Godai, Haruki Iwata (Assault Lily: Bouquet, D4DJ) as Sayuri Ichinose, Yuki Tenma (Tokyo Mew Mew New) as Nozomi Mitaka, Ayasa Ito (BanG Dream!, Teppen, Revue Starlight) as Nanase Nikaido, and Hana Hishikawa (Delicious Party Pretty Cure) as Mai Otonashi.
Pony Canyon will be responsible for the series’ music, while Naomi Hiruta (Mr. Grim Reaper, Five Million Dollar Life, A Devil and her Love Song) is doing the screenplay and Airi Takegawa (Ippon Again!) is on the character designs.
The Turkey original anime was first announced in December 2022 and is set in the city of Chikuma in the Nagano prefecture. This is not the first time Bakken Record did original anime projects. Some of them included Pole Princess (2023), Exception (2022), and Joran: The Princess of Snow and Blood (2021).
