A new original anime project titled Pole Princess!! by Tatsunoko Production and Avex Pictures was announced on Friday. The project also released a teaser visual and trailer along with the main staff and cast information. Additional info about the upcoming original will be revealed in a live stream on Wednesday, November 30.
Studio Tatsunoko Production will be animating the Pole Princess!! original anime while Avex Pictures is in charge of the music work. Hitomi Ezoe is directing the anime with Touko Machida writing the scripts. Yoshihiro Otobe is acting as CG director while the original character design is illustrated by tomari. Kenta Higashiohji is composing the music. The cast consists of Rio Tsuchiya as Hinano Hoshikata, Minami Hinata as Subaru Nanyo, Anna Suzuki as Lilia Saijo, and Yui Ogura as Mio Tosaka. All four cast members will be appearing on the aforementioned live stream. Song “Starlight Challenge” by the cast can be heard in the PV:

Pole Princess!! original anime is a coming-of-age story that revolves around the ordinary 17-year-old girl Hinano. Ever since she was young, she loved the planetarium run by her grandmother but when she found out that it was closing down, she was wondered if there was anything she could do for her grandmother and for the planetarium. One day, she coincidentally catches sight of a woman dancing on a pole under a starry sky. Inspired by what she witnessed, she then gathers her childhood friends, and together they jump into the world of pole dancing.
