Visual Prison to Air in October 2021, Teaser Visual Revealed

Visual Prison, upcoming anime by A-1 Pictures, is airing in October 2021. The official website for the series confirmed the information and released a new teaser visual.

Visual Prison is an original anime, announced during Anime Japan 2021. Composer Noriyasu Agematsu is listed as the original creator of the series. Tomoya Tanaka is directing the anime. This is his directing debut. Minako Shiba is doing character designs, while Yukie Sugawara is in charge of series composition. Elements Garden is composing the music.

The official website for the series offers a description of the story. Yuki Ange is unable to fit into his hometown, so he leaves to visit Harajuku, in hopes of seeing his favorite artist perform. However, once there he witnesses a music battle between visual-kei bands ECLIPSE and LOS†EDEN. While watching their performances he is struck by sudden pain…

In addition to the staff and plot description, cast listing is also available, as well as character art. Shouya Chiba voices the main character, Yuki Ange. Shun Horie is Robin Laffite, a free-spirited renowned vocalist, with the voice of an angel. Makoto Furukawa stars as Guiltia Brion (Gil), a quiet and sometimes misunderstood talented musician. Hiroki Nanami plays Eve Louise, Gil’s friend and housemate, a quiet and reserved person who doesn’t bother keeping up with appearances, but still comes across as a natural talent.

Toshiki Masuda, Shouta Aoi, Shougo Yano, Takuya Eguchi, Takuma Nagatsuka, and Nobunaga Shimazaki also star in the series. Previously, a PV revealed their names as additional cast for the Visual Prison anime:
