VTubers sing at YouTube Japan Music Weekend 2021

The third volume of YouTube Japan’s Music Weekend event is almost here. The three-day activity starting Friday, July 16, 2021 will feature 54 artists.

Viewers can watch performances from personalities like Ayumi Hamasaki, Nao Touyama and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. They can also watch performances from groups such as NMB48 and EXILE TRIBE to name a few. Following these will be a midnight session featuring various virtual YouTubers.

YouTube Japan described the said event as follows:

YouTube Music Weekend vol.3 is a program that allows you to enjoy live artist videos for three days from Friday, July 16 to Sunday, July 18.

A total of 54 artists will participate in the program, in cooperation with popular domestic artists and music labels, and will premiere live video and other content daily on their official YouTube artist channels.

We shall look forward to yet another sound weekend online through YouTube Japan’s Music Weekend volume 3.
