Takahiro Majima (Puella Magi Madoka Magica episode 5) is directing the upcoming episode while Naoki Hayashi (Citrus) continues to write the scripts. Ikuro Morimoto (The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie) is handling the storyboard. The chief animation directors for the episode include Taisuke Iwasaki (Hanamonogatari), Rondo Mizukami (White Album 2), and Haruka Hinata (Mieruko-chan episode 12).

After Hime’s blunder in the previous episode, she’s now stuck working in the shoujo-themed “Liebe Girls Academy” café. Kanoko, who is Hime’s friend and knows everything about her, is worried about her strange behavior recently. Kanoko secretly visits the café where she saw her friend waiting tables. How will Hime react to seeing Kanoko in the cafe is something to look forward to in episode 2 of Yuri Is My Job, which will be available to stream on Crunchyroll.

Studios Passione and LINGS are collaborating together in animating with Taisuke Iwasaki adapting the character designs from the manga by Minman. Yui Ogura is voicing the main character Hime Shirasagi while Sumire Uesaka is playing the role of Mitsuki Ayanokoji. The rest of the cast consists of the following:

  • Minami Tanaka as Kanoko Mamiya
  • Makoto Koichi as Sumika Chibana
  • Yukari Tamura as Mai Mikoshiba
  • Asami Seto as Nene Nishidera

Crunchyroll describes the story as follows:
Hime gets roped into working at a weird café where the waitresses pretend to be students at an all-girl boarding school. She’s strangely taken with her partner Mitsuki, who’s so kind to her in front of the customers. There’s just one problem…Mitsuki really can’t stand her!

I can talk about seiyuus for days. A connoisseur of cute girls doing cute things and fluffy romance stories always make me smile. I mostly watch slice-of-life and rom-coms with drama on the side.
