A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special announced today that the anime series will be returning for season 2. Arvo Animation animated the first season. The first A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special season 2 announcements comes right after the finale of the first season. The anime first premiered in Japan on October 8, 2023, while the English dubbed version started on October 21. The anime series adapts Usonan’s web novel which was collected into 8 volumes from June 2017 to November 2019. The web novel was then turned into a manhwa, translated into Japanese as Kikansha no Maho wa Tokubetsu Desu. Tappytoon publishes the manhwa in English digitally while Yen Press handles print publication. Two out of the four volumes released in English so far. Volume 3 will be released on March 19, 2024.
