Aniplex Online Festival 2023 is behind us, with many exciting announcements and news. Sally Amaki and Yoshida Hisanori hosted the event, which featured musical performances by Philosophy no Dance, okazakitaiiku, KANA-BOON, Yuho Kitazawa, Shoko Nakagawa, and DJ Kazu. The Elusive Samurai
The Elusive Samurai anime adaptation has been rather elusive with updates since it was announced but this time we got to meet the main character and also learn information about additional cast.
Mashle: Magic and Muscles
The second season of MASHLE will cover the Divine Visionary Candidate Exam arc. Ryoh Grantz, Orter Madl and Margarette Macaron will be joining the character lineup.
Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid
Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid revealed a new key visual ahead of the December 1 premiere in Japan. CloverWorks is animating the latest installment in the franchise.
Blue Exorcist Season 3
The much-anticipated third season of Blue Exorcist is coming Winter 2024 anime season. Shimane Illuminati Saga is the title of the sequel, which revealed a key visual and trailer.
Studio VOLN will be animating the third season of the popular series.
Kizumonogatari -Vamp Edition-
Kizumonogatari -Vamp Edition- is an upcoming movie project that will combine the three Kizumonogatari movies into one, under the watchful eye of Tatsuya Oishi, who will be directing and working on the script.
The Concierge at Hokkyoku Department Store
Myuk’s theme song for The Concierge at Hokkyoku Department Store is featured in the new trailer for the upcoming movie. Production I.G is animating.
Heat the Pig Liver
The premiere of Heat the Pig Liver anime is just around the corner and in addition to a new trailer that features Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as the adorable piglet, we also got a new key visual.
Project No.9 is animating the series, which will premiere in October.
Black Butler
Black Butler: Public School Arc revealed a new trailer featuring the “perfect four.” CloverWorks is animating the sequel, which will premiere in 2024.
Heaven Official’s Blessing
Heaven Official’s Blessing did not reveal much, but we do know that the anime is heading to Crunchyroll in October. In addition, the first season will be rebroadcast in Japan.
A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special
Arvo Animation’s new series premieres this October 7. Check out the new trailer:

The Demon Prince of Momochi House
The Demon Prince of Momochi House anime adaptation revealed a new teaser trailer and a 2024 broadcast date. Studio Drive is animating the series.
Solo Leveling
Solo Leveling fans have been blessed with yet another trailer showcasing the upcoming anime. The series premieres in January and Crunchyroll will be streaming it.
Delico’s Nursery
The latest installment of the TRUMP project revealed a trailer and a visual, along with the main cast. The trailer features English subtitles:

Kensho Ono is joining the cast of ATRI: My Dear Moments as the protagonist Natsuki Ikaruga.
Demon Lord 2099
J.C. Staff is animating the adaptation of a story that has both sci-fi elements and demon lords. Check out the trailer for the teaser visual that features Demon Lord Veltol and Machina.
16bit Sensation: Another Layer
It’s 1992 again in the 16bit Sensation: Another Layer trailer! Get ready for the anime, which premieres on October 4. Legendary Shoko Nakagawa will be performing the opening theme song.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Walpurgisnacht – Rising
The most-anticipated title of the Aniplex Online Festival 2023 was definitely the fourth movie in the Puella Magi Madoka Magica franchise: the Walpurgisnacht – Rising. The waiting paid off, as we got not only the trailer but also a key visual and a winter 2024 premiere date in Japan.
SHAFT is animating the movie, under Yukihito Miyamoto’s direction. Akiyuki Shinbo is listed as the chief director and Gen Urobuchi is writing the script.
Witch on the Holy Night
Witch on the Holy Night was featured in the gaming block of the program, alongside BUILD-DIVIDE and Aster Tatariqus. The visual novel revealed a new English-subtitled trailer to celebrate its upcoming release on Steam on December 14.
