Out of the already released singles, Akum no Ko is by far the most popular one. The single was released on January 10, along with the premiere on Attack on Titan’s latest installment. The creditless version of the TV size song was uploaded on YouTube and currently has over 12 million views.

After its release, the song gained more than 20 million streams in 30 days and currently has over 15 million on Spotify alone. It doesn’t come as a surprise that the song ranked 3rd on the Spotify viral top 50 in Japan and 5th on the global charts. This song is also currently the most-streamed Winter 2022 ED on the service. “Akuma no Ko” also ranked No.1 on Apple Music J-Pop ranking in 106 countries, and in the Top 10 of 124 countries. It was also first ranked on iTunes Store J-Pop in 37 countries (Top 10 of 48 countries). Ai Higuchi wrote and composed the song herself, and it truly matches the mood of the Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2.

A special music video featuring the full version of the song and the scenes from the anime was also revealed last month:

Ai Higuchi is a singer-songwriter, born in 1989 in Kagawa. She grew up in Nagano, but currently lives and works in Tokyo. She learned to play the piano when she was two.
