Attack on Titan: 'Shinzou wo Sasageyo!' Played Over 100 Million Times on Spotify

Spotify marked over 100 million times played for the iconic opening for Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin)’s Season 2, ‘Shinzou wo Sasageyo!’ by Linked Horizon! The platform made a tweet to commemorate the huge milestone on their official account with a special image:

Although it doesn’t have over 100 million listens like on Spotify, the anime version of ‘Shinzou wo Sasageyo!’ is also available on Funimation’s YouTube channel:

We are now about a month away from the anime continuing. Attack on Titan: The Final Season will return with Part 2 in January 2022, while it’s already confirmed to release in Japan on January 9. Studio MAPPA is animating the final season, after they took over from WIT Studio, which did the first 3.

Both Funimation and Crunchyroll will stream the anime, and you can watch the latest trailer:

The full version of ‘Shinozu wo Sasageyo’ is already well over 100 million plays on Spotify, and you can listen to that as well:

Kodansha is publishing the manga in English, and they describe the story:

A century ago, the grotesque giants known as Titans appeared and consumed all but a few thousand humans. The survivors took refuge behind giant walls. Today, the threat of the Titans is a distant memory, and a boy named Eren yearns to explore the world beyond Wall Maria. But what began as a childish dream will become an all-too-real nightmare when the Titans return and humanity is once again on the brink of extinction …
