Baku Yumemakura's Onmyoji Gets Anime Adaptation in 2023

Baku Yumemakura‘s Onmyoji novels are officially getting an anime adaptation, and its release date has been set for 2023. The announcement was made at the Netflix TUDUM 2022 event, and you can check out the first artwork for the anime:

The staff for the Onmyoji anime adaptation includes Soubi Yamamotois as the director, with Natsu Hashimoto and Yuiko Kato in charge of the scripts. Studio Marvy Jack is in charge of the production.

The original Onmyoji novels were published by Baku Yumemakura in 1986, featuring the real Onmyoji Abe no Seimei as the main character. This will be the first anime adaptation, although it has previously been developed into various media, such as manga, live action, and stage.
