Blue Lock Episode 19 Preview Images Revealed

The preview images for episode 19 of Blue Lock were revealed on Wednesday. The episode will air on Saturday, February 18. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime with English subtitles.

Blue Lock emerged as not only the best new anime of the Fall 2022 season but also as one of the best anime from the season overall. And now, Blue Lock looks to continue its dominance in the Winter 2023 rankings. Adding intense soccer moments with incredible animation and detailed artwork only adds to the allure that Blue Lock brings to the table. After defeating Kunigami, Reo, and Chigiri, Isagi and his squad must decide on who will join them in this week’s episode!

Blue Lock is an anime adaptation of the original manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura which began publishing in 2018 under Weekly Shonen Magazine. Blue Lock is directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe and is animated by studio 8bit. Taku Kishimoto is in charge of the series composition and script. Kenji Tanabe and Kento Toya are handling the character designs.

Japan’s desire for World Cup glory leads the Japanese Football Association to launch a new rigorous training program to find the national team’s next striker. Three hundred high school players are pitted against each other for the position, but only one will come out on top. Who among them will be the striker to usher in a new era of Japanese soccer?

 Episode 19 of Blue Lock will air on Saturday, February 11.
