PUBG MOBILE has launched a new collaboration with BLUE LOCK, bringing characters, cosmetics, vehicles, and themed collectibles from the soccer anime into the battle royale game for a limited time. The crossover event is available now through June 30, 2026. The franchise has an upcoming live-action movie, as well as Season 3 of the TV anime.
The new collaboration introduces character sets based on several BLUE LOCK players, including Yoichi Isagi, Meguru Bachira, Seishiro Nagi, and Rin Itoshi. PUBG MOBILE says each set was designed to reflect the players’ “distinctive look and high-energy presence.”
Additional themed cosmetics include the “Training Outfit Set” and “Maid Berserker Set,” alongside collaboration vehicles such as the Crimson Lightning Glider and a Blue Lock-themed Dacia vehicle skin.
Players can also obtain crossover weapons and equipment, including:
- “Chain Handcuffs” machete
- “Decisive Moment” Vector skin
- “Omelet Rice” frying pan
- Blue Lock parachute
- Jigsaw Puzzle Helmet and Backpack
Outside of combat items, the event also adds themed decorative content and collectibles, including figures, graffiti, avatar frames, and chibi-style space gifts featuring Bachira and Isagi.
According to the announcement, the collaboration was designed around BLUE LOCK’s main themes of “ego, ambition and self-discovery,” encouraging players to “trust their instincts, outplay their opponents and prove themselves as the ultimate striker.”
Blue Lock, created by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, follows Japan’s controversial football training program created to produce the world’s best striker. The franchise has become one of the biggest sports anime and manga series globally, surpassing 50 million copies in circulation worldwide.
Muneyuki Kaneshiro writes the BLUE LOCK manga, with art by Yusuke Nomura. Kodansha is publishing the manga in English. The story follows BLUE LOCK, the project to create the ultimate egoistical striker that will take Japan to a World Cup trophy. Animated by 8bit, the anime has released two TV anime seasons and the BLUE LOCK -Episode Nagi- movie so far.
We had the chance to interview Kazuki Ura (Isagi’s Japanese voice actor), Ryoya Arisawa (anime producer), and Megumu Tsuchiya (manga editor) at last year’s Anime Expo. We talked with them about working on the manga and anime series, the challenges they faced in creating the work loved by fans worldwide, and more about Season 2.
