The story follows BLUE LOCK, the project to create the ultimate egoistical striker that will take Japan to a World Cup trophy. Animated by 8bit, the anime has released two TV anime seasons and the BLUE LOCK -Episode Nagi- movie so far.

We had the chance to interview Kazuki Ura (Isagi’s Japanese voice actor), Ryoya Arisawa (anime producer), and Megumu Tsuchiya (manga editor) at last year’s Anime Expo. We talked with them about working on the manga and anime series, the challenges they faced in creating the work loved by fans worldwide, and more about Season 2. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime.
