Bocchi the Rock Anime Gets Ryo Yamada Trailer

The official Twitter account for the Bocchi The Rock anime has posted a new trailer for the cool bass player Ryo Yamada. Studio CloverWorks is in charge of the production, and they previously released a Nijika Ijichi trailer, as well as visuals for all of the band members Hitori GotoNijika Ijichi, Ryo Yamada and Ikuyo Kita. Saku Mizuno voices Ryo, and you can watch the new trailer below:

The rest of the cast includes Yoshino Aoyama voicing the main character Hitori, Sayumi Suzushiro voicing Nijika, and Ikumi Hasegawa as Ikuyo Kita. The staff for the Bocchi the Rock consists of Keiichiro Saitou as the director, Erika Yoshida in charge of the series composition and script and Kerorira as the character designer. The anime will premiere on October 8.

Aki Hamaji writes and draws the original 4-panel manga, which began in 2018. The story for it goes:

Gotou Hitori is a high school girl who starting learning to playing the guitar because she dreams of being in a band, but she’s so shy that she hasn’t made a single friend. However, her dream might come true after she meets Ijichi Nijika, a girl who plays drums and is looking for a new guitarist for her band. (Anime-Planet)
