The Chainsaw Man anime is close to its October 11 premiere, and Crunchyroll has announced the exact streaming time of its first episode. It is officially scheduled to premiere on Tuesday at 9:00am PT (Pacific Time) or 12:00pm EDT (Eastern Time). The territories where it will be available include North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS. Watch the latest trailer:

The anime announced yesterday several new cast additions, including Hanae Natsuki as the Shark Devil and Maaya Uchida as the Angel Devil. Meanwhile, the main cast consists of Kikunosuke Toya as Denji, Tomori Kusunoki as Makima, Shogo Sakata as Aki Hayakawa and Fairouz Ai as Power. Kenjiro Tsuda was previously cast as Kishibe. Studio MAPPA is in charge of the production, with Ryu Nakayama as the director. Kazutaka Sugiyama is the character designer, while Kiyotaka Oshiyama is credited for the creature designs. Kensuke Ushio is composing the music.
Fans voted Chainsaw Man as the most anticipated anime of this season, and we’ll see if the first episode lives up to the hype when the streaming time gets here on Tuesday. Crunchyroll will stream it, and they describe the story:
Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita.
One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as “Chainsaw Man”–a man with a devil’s heart.
