Vaundy performed the first ending song “CHAINSAW BLOOD”, while Zutomayo performed the second one “Time Left”. The third ending song featured “2-hundred-million-centimeter-long blades” by MAXIMUM THE HORMONE. The anime was voted the most anticipated show of Fall 2022, and it also topped the 1st weekly chart after narrowly beating out BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (the difference between the two shows was only 0.13%). In the 2nd week, it placed 2nd behind BLEACH, and it kept the same rank in week 3. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime, and they describe the story:
Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita. One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as “Chainsaw Man”–a man with a devil’s heart.
