Dr. Stone: Ryusui Special Releases Non-Credit Opening Video

Besides the season 3 news, the official Dr. Stone Twitter also released the Dr. Stone: Ryusui TV special episode’s non-credit opening video. Burnout Syndromes perform the theme song, titled “Good Morning World!“ and you can watch the video below:

Written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi, the manga ended after 5 years of serialization on March 7, 2022. It had a total of 232 chapters, and you can read it on VIZ or MANGA Plus. VIZ describes the story:
One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, high schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues. However, he’s not alone! His science-loving friend Senku’s been up and running for a few months and he’s got a grand plan in mind—to kickstart civilization with the power of science!

Season 1 of the Dr. Stone anime adaptation began airing in the Summer 2019 anime season (24 episodes), while season 2, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, started in January of 2021. Season 3 is set to premiere in 2023, titled Dr. Stone: New World.
