Dr. Stone: Science Future (Season 4) revealed the preview for its final episode, Episode 37, which premieres on June 25. The anime premiered on April 2, with Shuhei Matsushuita directing at TMS Entertainment.
Previously, climax visuals featuring Senku and the astronauts were revealed, as well as a ‘final showdown’ visual featuring Why-man.
The last episode is titled “A Future to Get Excited About” and you can see the preview images and synopsis below.
At last, the mastermind behind the petrification of all humanity, Why-man, appears before Senku and the others! Through his dialogue with Senku, the truth behind the petrification beam is revealed one piece after another. Meanwhile, Why-man, a mechanical life-form, demands parasitism in exchange for eternal life.
Entrusted with the fate of the Stone World, Senku takes on a one-on-one negotiation with Why-Man…! And then, to save all of humanity, Senku and his friends press onward toward the unprecedented realm of “future science”…!!

The story follows a genius scientist, Senku Ishigami, as the he attempts to revive humanity after everyone gets mysteriously petrified. Having slowly achieved remarkable progress, their goal is now space, but Dr. Xeno proved to be a new challenge along with Stanley Snyder. They eventually joined the Kingdom Science, and now it’s time to learn the secret behind Why-Man.
The first season of the Dr. Stone anime adaptation began airing in the Summer of 2019 anime season and had 24 episodes. The second season, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, started in January 2021 and ran for 11 episodes. The series also received a special episode focusing on Ryusui in July 2022. The third, Stone: New World, ran for 23 episodes over 2 split cours in 2023. The fourth season was announced as the final one immediately after the finale of Season 3.
