Dr. Stone Season 3 Reveals Main Visual Ahead of April 6 Premiere

Dr. Stone: New World (Season 3) anime has released a new key visual ahead of its April 6 premiere date. It will run for 2 split cours. It was also announced that the ending theme will be “Where Do We Go?” by OKAMOTO’S. The anime released a new trailer two weeks ago, featuring the theme song “Wasuregataki” by Huwie Ishizaki. The new season will feature Ryusui, as well as the new character Francois voiced by Maaya Sakamoto. Watch the latest trailer:

Written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi, the Dr. STONE manga ended after 5 years of serialization on March 7, 2022. It had a total of 232 chapters, and you can read it on VIZ or MANGA Plus. VIZ describes the story:
One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, high schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues. However, he’s not alone! His science-loving friend Senku’s been up and running for a few months and he’s got a grand plan in mind—to kickstart civilization with the power of science!

Season 1 of the Dr. Stone anime adaptation began airing in the Summer of 2019 anime season (24 episodes), while season 2, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, started in January 2021 and ran for 11 episodes. The series also received a special episode focusing on Ryusui in July 2022.
