Dr STONE Sequel Officially Announced, Trailer Released

As the season finale of Dr STONE: Stone Wars finally aired on March 25, 2021, a new promotional trailer for the sequel of the series was revealed, without revealing the format! The official Twitter page for Dr.STONE unveiled it right after premiering the season finale. Further details are to be announced at a later date.

The new season will likely feature Senku’s “Age of Exploration” arc as he sets sails to the sea! Let’s all hop aboard and witness Senku’s new mind-blowing inventions and battles!

Dr. STONE Volume 1

On March 2017, Boichi and Inagaki launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump while Viz Media is publishing the manga digitally and in print. The synopsis for the series goes as:

One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, high schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues. However, he’s not alone! His science-loving friend Senku’s been up and running for a few months and he’s got a grand plan in mind—to kickstart civilization with the power of science!

You may have notice that the theme song used for the promotional video was “Good Morning World!” by BURNOUT SYNDROMES. Would this mean that BURNOUT SYNDROMES will be performing the opening theme song for the 3rd season?
