In the latest issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump (#12), it was announced that Haruichi Furudate’s popular Haikyu volleyball manga series will get a new one-shot chapter, and it will show Hinata and his friends in 2022. The release date was not announced yet.
The new one-shot manga chapter is part of the Haikyu manga’s 10th anniversary, and there are several other projects happening. One of them is the release of a full-color version of the manga. There’s a production of LINE stamps drawn by Haruichi Furudate, a collaboration with the V League and a radio drama. They also revealed a new visual featuring Oikawa Toru, which you can see on the official Twitter:

The Haikyu manga was written and drawn by Haruichi Furudate, and it was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2020. The manga ended with a total of 402 chapters, compiled into 45 volumes. Viz Media licensed it in English, and they describe the story:
After losing his first and last volleyball match against Tobio Kageyama, “the King of the Court,” Shoyo Hinata swears to become his rival after graduating middle school. But what happens when the guy he wants to defeat ends up being his teammate?!
The series also received 4 anime seasons by Production I.G, along with a total of 5 OVA episodes and several stage plays.
The Haikyu one-shot will show what Hinata and the others are doing in 2022, and it will be the first chapter since July 2020.
