Episode 4 of Horimiya is out, and Tooru finally seems to have some luck. At least at the start of the episode, when he met his potential love interest, Kouno Sakura, although he’s obviously not aware of it yet. After that, it was mostly the same old for him, no luck as he was riddled with misunderstandings and misfortune.
The saddest part for him was the cola scene, where Miyamura accidentally dropped his drink. That wasn’t the end of it though, as Miyamura and Hori worded the explanation terribly, and the man went through way more stress than he needed thinking about what they were doing in the hallway. On the other hand, the entire scene was adorable for our main couple, who have made more progress and are now even closer. Namely, Miyamura went to look after Hori and clearly said he’s in love with her. That’s different from the previous ‘like’, though it seems Hori prefers to be friends for a bit longer.
We also got a fun scene with Sengoku, as well as the introduction of Emma x Hinata Shoyo as Miyamura’s friend from middle school. He seems like a nice guy. He also became good enough friends with Miyamura that he slaps him every chance he gets. It happened a few times in this episode, though it was mostly due to Hori. Not to neglect the fact he helped our MC through middle school and is overall a great guy.
