The premiere of the upcoming In//Spectre Season 2 has been postponed from the previously scheduled October 2022 to January 2023. The official announcement stated that the delay happened due to “various reasons” and thanked the fans for understanding. It was posted on the official Twitter account for the anime.
Brain’s Base is animating the second season with Keiji Gotoh as the director. Noboru Katagi is on series composition and Kentaro Matsumoto is once again doing character designs. It appears that the staff from the first season is returning. You can watch season 1 on Crunchyroll and Muse Asia.

The anime is based on Kyo Shirodaira’ In/Spectre novel series. Kodansha began publishing the series with Hiro Kiyohara’s and Chasiba Katase’s (Vol.2 – onwards) illustrations in 2011. The same publisher is also serializing a manga adaptation by Chasiba Katase since 2015. Kodansha US describes the plot as:
Both touched by spirits called yokai, Kotoko and Kuro have gained unique superhuman powers. But to gain her powers Kotoko has given up an eye and a leg, and Kuro’s personal life is in shambles.
