A little over a month is left until JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 Movie hits theaters in Japan, and they’ve released a new TV commercial (CM) featuring a new part of the theme song by King Gnu titled “The Only Way”. The movie will premiere on December 24, and you can watch the new CM on Toho Animation’s official YouTube channel:
The film previously revealed several character designs and a cool key visual, as well as the voice cast. Ogata Megumi voices the main character Okkotsu Yuta, who is one of the students that Satoru Gojo thinks can surpass him. Meanwhile, Hanazawa Kana voices Orimoto Rika. The movie is a prequel to the 1st season of JUJUTSU KAISEN, and it covers Volume 0 of the manga. VIZ licensed it in English, and they describe the story:
Yuta Okkotsu is a nervous high school student who is suffering from a serious problem. His childhood friend Rika has turned into a Curse and won’t leave him alone. Since Rika is no ordinary Curse, his plight is noticed by Satoru Gojo, a teacher at Jujutsu High, a school where fledgling exorcists learn how to combat Curses. Gojo convinces Yuta to enroll, but can he learn enough in time to confront the Curse that haunts him?

We might get a few more TV commercials for the JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 Movie ahead of its release, and let’s hope the international release doesn’t take long after Japan.
