Jujutsu Kaisen Manga Has 20 Million+ Circulating Copies

The latest huge hit from Shonen Jump is only going higher. The Jujutsu Kaisen manga, written and illustrated by Akutami Gege, has now surpassed 20 million circulating copies (including digital release)! It has been serialized since March 2018, which is a pretty short amount of time for such a number. The milestone was shared on the official Twitter account, and what’s amazing is that it hasn’t even been a month since they reported 15 million copies! That’s 5 million in less than 1 month!

The latest cover of the 14th volume is also below:

The anime is doing well too. Gojo’s eye reveal got it trending worldwide, as well as his birthday! MAPPA has definitely proven that they are ready for big things, and fans are loving it. Another credit to the franchise’s popularity are its opening and ending songs. To be more specific, both the opening and ending are going huge on YouTube (official uploads).

Titled “Kaikai Kitan” and performed by Eve, the OP song has already surpassed 15 million views on the platform. On the other hand, titled “Lost in Paradise” and performed by ALI feat. AKLO, the ED song has surpassed 9 million views. You can check out both here.

20 million is a lot, but with the anime being so popular, Jujutsu Kaisen manga is bound to go way higher. Looking forward to following it in the future and hope it lives up to the expectations!

Anime returns on January 15.
