Aka Akasaka’s Kaguya-sama Love Is War manga launched in Shueisha’s monthly magazine Miracle Jump in May 2015 but was later moved to Weekly Young Jump magazine in March 2016. The manga inspired a TV anime series with three seasons by A-1 Pictures and several live-action film adaptations. A new anime project Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -The First Kiss That Never Ends- is set to premiere later this month in Japan. Aka Akasaka released a statement regarding the finale of the manga series and announced his retirement as a manga artist along with his future activity to dedicate himself to story writing as an original writer of manga works. He is currently writing the story for Oshi no Ko, which is also getting an anime.
