According to Crunchyroll.de’s Official Twitter, a season 2 of Kyokou Suiri (also known as In/Spectre) is in production. The original tweet:
There is also an illustration at the end of the teaser trailer they posted. It features the adorable couple, with one of them way more excited than the other as usual. You can also check that out below:
Ignoring Kurou’s hand, the text is in German. It confirms that a second season is in production, and we can expect more details at a later date.
The first season of the anime aired from January to March this year. It was 12 episodes long, and the animation was done by studio Brain’s Base. The story goes:
Iwanaga Kotoko became the god of wisdom to the supernatural beings and spends her days solving problems for them. However, the boy who she fell head over heels for, Sakuragawa Kuro, is someone that is feared by all supernatural creatures. The two of them face various mysterious incidents involving the supernatural in this love x romance x mystery series. Where will these fantastical incidents lead them and what will happen with Kotoko’s crush? (Crunchyroll)
It basically follows the two as they solve mysteries together, and their chemistry is really fun! There were also some interesting yokai in there. Kyokou Suiri is definitely one of the shows I enjoyed a lot this year, so a season 2 sounds great. Hopefully more details come soon and we get a date too.
