The upcoming Love After World Domination anime series revealed its additional cast. Chafurin, Tomokazu Sugita, and Hiroki Yasumoto are joining the show that’s set to air in 2022. Studio Project No.9 (Higehiro) will be producing the anime under the direction of Kazuya Iwata.
Previously, the anime revealed a promotional video along with the information about main cast and staff.
Ikumi Hasegawa will be lending her voice to Desumi Magahara/Shinigami Oujo, and Yuusuke Kobayashi will voice Fudo Aikawa/Red Gelato. Additionally, Fumihiko Tachiki will voice the narrator of the series.
Kazuyuki Okitsu (Peter Mork) is also joining the cast as Hayato Ōji together with Nene Hieda (Yuzu Izumi) as Misaki Jingūji, and Junji Majima (Run) as Daigo Todoroki.
Meanwhile, Kana Hanazawa (Nakano Ichika) will be voicing Kiki Majima, Hisako Kanemoto (Nakiri Erina) will voice Kyoko Kuroyuri, and Ayane Sakura (Nakano Yotsuba) will voice Anna Hojo
The newly included cast include:
Akemi Kobayashi is in charge of character designs, while Satoshi Sugisawa will take care of series composition. In addition, Satoshi Houno and Ryunosuke Kasai will compose the music.
Love After World Domination is a Japanese manga series by Hiroshi Noda. The manga has been serialized in Monthly Shonen Magazin since 2018. It is still ongoing and, as of now, it has 3 volumes.
The plot follows Aikawa Fudo, who is a leader of the hero squadron “Gelato 5” that aims for world peace, and Magahara Desumi, who happens to be a part of a secret society that wants to take over the world. However, the two of them meet and their connection begins to transcend organizational bounds.
