Results for Anime Corner’s Best Character of Summer 2021 are finally here. Thousands of fans voted in our poll in order to help their favorites become the best girl or best boy of the Summer 2021 season.
This season gave us plenty of material to work with, along with some amazing character development. The competition was strong, but our voters have managed to pick the best of the best. Some of the results were quite surprising, considering their respective anime didn’t do too well, but the others were expected.

The Detective is Already Dead‘s Siesta taking the top spot is quite the surprise, seeing as the anime didn’t even make it to our Top 10 Summer 2021 Anime list. Alice from The Duke of Death and His Maid takes the second spot, while Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Tohru is in the third place (but, she’s the best dragon of the season for sure). Shuuna and Kanna follow in places 4 and 5.

Fewer surprises in the Best Boy section, with The Duke taking the top spot. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, however, dominates the chart with Rumuru, Veldora, and Diablo in places 2, 3, and 4, respectively. Vanitas managed to win over the viewers’ hearts and is deservingly in the 5th spot.
