Magia Record Finale to Air All 4 Episodes on April 3

The upcoming finale of Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story revealed a new trailer along with broadcast information. The final season is titled “Asaki Yume no Akatsuki” (Dawn of a Shallow Dream) will have 4 episodes and all of them will air on April 3.

The new Magia Record trailer also features the ending theme “Orgel” by ClariS×TrySail. Studio SHAFT is animating the series, under Yukihiro Miyamoto’s direction. Gekidan Inu Curry and Katsuhiko Takayama are overseeing series composition. Ume Aoki is credited with original character designs, with Junichiro Taniguchi adapting them for the Magia Record anime.

Magia Record is a spin-off series to the Puella Magi Madoka Magica franchise, which originally started in 2011 with a TV anime. The spin-off was originally a game by f4samurai, but it received an anime adaptation in 2020. Magia Record Season 2 aired in 2021 and had 8 episodes, with the finale airing in April after previously being delayed.

In addition to the TV anime, the Madoka Magica project also has three movies. The first two movies are recap versions of the first season, while the third is a sequel and offers a new ending. A new movie project is also in the works.
